Lyme Regis Lifeboat Week▸

One of the town's biggest summer events. A full week of family fun, games, entertainment and displays raising funds for the RNLI. Features the Red Arrows display, Bathtub Race, swimming challenges and crab fishing competition.

International street food pop-up market on Gun Cliff Walk from 4pm to sunset.

Bridport Carnival Procession▸

Annual Bridport Carnival procession through the town centre from West Allington, moving off at 7pm.

Bridport Torchlight Procession▸

Magical torchlight walk from Bridport Town Centre to West Bay with 1500 blazing torches, culminating in bonfire and fireworks on East Beach.

Melplash Agricultural Show▸

One of the South West's premier agricultural shows at the West Bay Showground in Bridport. Livestock, horses, homecrafts, horticulture and over 400 trade stands.

Sidmouth Airshow: The Red Arrows▸

Sidmouth is a half hour drive West if you're a fan of air displays and fancy a day-trip. The Red Arrows will be returning as part of the Sidmouth Regatta Weekend. Display time to be confirmed.

Bridport Hat Festival▸

Celebration of hats, fundraiser for head-related charities and giant summer-ending street party. Fun Hat Competition open to all.

Seaton Carnival▸

Seaton's annual illuminated carnival procession opening the East Devon Carnival Circuit. The committee noted 2026 is a special year.

RNLI Lyme Splash Swim 2026▸

Lyme Regis to Charmouth 2 mile open water sea swim along the Jurassic Coast... weather dependent. Limited to 300 participants and always sells out!

Lyme Regis Bonfire Night Fireworks Display▸

Annual free fireworks display from The Cobb with a bonfire on the beach if weather permits. Organised by Lyme Regis Regatta & Carnival team. Cash donations encouraged.

Remembrance Sunday Events▸

Annual Remembrance Sunday parade through town (9:30am) and memorial service at St Michael's Church (10am). Then gather at the clock tower at 10:50 for a two minute silence.

Lyme Regis Christmas Lights Switch On▸

Annual event marking the start of the festive season in Lyme Regis. Santa arrives on his sleigh to switch on the town's Christmas lights.

The Big Christmas Weekend▸

Carols Round the Tree▸

Annual community carol singing event organised by Rotary Club of Lyme Regis around the Christmas tree at the bottom of Broad Street. Music by Lyme Regis Town Band.

New Year's Day Duck Race 2027▸

Hundreds of numbered toy ducks released into the River Lym at Windsor Terrace on New Year's Day, racing to Jordan Flats. Raises funds for Lyme Regis Christmas Lights.

Lyme Lunge 2027▸

Annual fancy dress sea dip on New Year's Day organised by Rotary Club of Lyme Regis. Weather-dependent.
