A gorgeous self catering holiday home in Lyme Regis
Relaxing in Lyme Regis
There can be few better ways to take a break from it all than spending a few days at Lyme Cottage. Whether it’s a long weekend or a week to retreat – the cottage is ready to welcome you rain or shine… relax in front of the open fire and enjoy the sound of the wind and rain on the windows, or in warmer months have your lunch out on the deck looking out to sea.
Beautifully refurbished Dorset luxury coastguard cottage
Set a couple of streets back from the famous Cobb and originally built for Lyme Regis’ coastguards, Lyme Cottage has been completely refurbished and is now available as a self catering holiday cottage. The renovations to the Grade 2 listed property have both revived the charm of the original building and incorporated modern facilities to ensure you have a fantastic break.
Facilities
Lyme Cottage is small but in no sense pokey. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a well planned kitchen and a deck/garden with sea view. The window in the double room looks out over Lyme Bay and the Cobb and the second bedroom has beds that can be made up as twins or zipped together to form a luxury kingsize double if you prefer. The cottage also has a comfy sofa bed providing an extra double should you need it for occasional drop-in guests. We now have three galleries of photos to peruse.
What guests are saying…
TripAdvisor: “We have had a lovely time at Lyme Cottage over the Easter weekend. It is such a lovely little house, very cosy and comfortable and has everything that you may need. And so close to everything in Lyme! We have already recommended it and will keep doing so and hope to came back and stay here in the future.” (EA, London)
“Inside, it has been beautifully and simply decorated, and has a well stocked and well equipped kitchen. We really appreciated all the little extras, such as oil, salt and pepper, herbs (including fresh herbs from the garden) and ice in the freezer. The cottage was really clean and well looked after. We booked a parking space with the B&B just down the hill, which worked brilliantly.” (LS, Thornbury)
