A gorgeous self catering holiday home in Lyme Regis
Looking forward to 2023!
With the last few, difficult years now firmly behind us, Lyme Cottage is looking forward to welcoming you back in 2023! Lyme Regis is buzzing with activity once more with events being planned year-round in 2023 including fireworks, carnival week, festivals and regattas.
Beautifully refurbished Dorset luxury coastguard cottage
Set a couple of streets back from the famous Cobb and originally built for Lyme Regis’ coastguards, Lyme Cottage was completely refurbished in 2013 and is now available as a self catering holiday cottage. The renovations to the Grade 2 listed property have both revived the charm of the original building and incorporated modern facilities to ensure you have a fantastic break.
Lyme Cottage is small but in no sense pokey. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a well planned kitchen and a deck/garden with sea view. The window in the double room looks out over Lyme Bay and the Cobb and the second bedroom has beds that can be made up as twins or zipped together to form a luxury kingsize double if you prefer. The cottage also has a comfy sofa bed providing an extra double should you need it for occasional drop-in guests. We now have three galleries of photos to peruse.
What guests are saying…
TripAdvisor: “We have had a lovely time at Lyme Cottage over the Easter weekend. It is such a lovely little house, very cosy and comfortable and has everything that you may need. And so close to everything in Lyme! We have already recommended it and will keep doing so and hope to came back and stay here in the future.” (EA, London)
“Inside, it has been beautifully and simply decorated, and has a well stocked and well equipped kitchen. We really appreciated all the little extras, such as oil, salt and pepper, herbs (including fresh herbs from the garden) and ice in the freezer. The cottage was really clean and well looked after. We booked a parking space with the B&B just down the hill, which worked brilliantly.” (LS, Thornbury)
