We’ve started to put together a list of some of the places that we love to eat at when we’re in Lyme… if you think we’ve made a mistake or missed anywhere fabulous then please do let us know so that we can make sure this page stays as useful and current as possible!

Probably worth mentioning that Lyme Regis tends to eat fairly early and that places do get booked up at the height of the season. If you wander in to town at 9 o’clock expecting to find somewhere to eat then you’ll be limited to an Indian (lovely though Lal Qilla is!).

The Pop-Up Kitchen

32a Broad Street, Lyme Regis

The pop-up kitchen offers a rotation of fabulous pop-up restaurants and food experiences over the course of the year. Licensed bar. You’ll need to check out their website to see what’s on – but whatever it is… it will be well worth a visit!

Reservations a must… it’s a small venue, so plan ahead to get a table!

Fish restaurant.
What to order: The crab sandwich and the cakes

“The crab sandwich is served in soft, thick-cut granary bread and is consistently fantastic. Homemade soups are also great, and the cakes are soft and gorgeous. This has always been more of a lunch than a dinner place for us…”
